Eh. That place was a parody of itself. It was relevant once but spent the next 30 years resting on its laurels.
They didn't pay the rent. Lost on the SAVE CBGB crowd was that a homeless shelter was losing money while our mayor and a bunch of self-absorbed celebrities fought to keep it open.
