Hold up.
Does this mean I have to start liking Barney Frank?

karol wants to be a democrat

j/k
:0))
BTW, it was a straight whorehouse.
The pimp who Frank let operate out of his D.C. apartment supposedly arranged for him to use a gay whoremonger in the same area-as part of their understanding-but the escort service that Frank facilitated was purely male-female sexual intercourse from what I recall.
Pure fact.
As a Republican, you know your team has really fumbled the ball badly when they look worse than Barney Frank. I wonder if they have any idea, or if they're too out of touch to even notice.
Posted by: Eric at October 12, 2006 01:02 AMBut, again, the problem is that in these quotes Frank seems more conservative than Republicans. The problem is Republicans aren't conservative enough.

We have a winner.
Posted by: Mark Poling at October 12, 2006 09:55 AMThe national repubs are drunk with power. Power corrupts. Give another party twelve years in power, and see how true to their principles they stay.
Posted by: David at October 12, 2006 10:01 AMBut David, we can't throw the republicans out of office because (take your pick)
Don't Democrats realize we're fighting a War!?!?
or
There's some college professor at Podunk State College who compared Bush to Hitler, OMG, leftists are CRAAAZY
or
They want to kill us!
or
The Democrats will repeal the tax cuts
or
Speaker Pelosi!!
We could probably easily write a bot to charicature the republican response to every point made against them these days.
Posted by: lange at October 12, 2006 02:00 PMWell, leftists are crazy. But more importantly, to me, Democrats aren't conservative.
Posted by: Karol at October 12, 2006 02:09 PMKarol,
That's true. The problem is the Republicans aren't conservative either.
Posted by: Eric at October 12, 2006 04:19 PMNo, you just have to get smarter - at advancing your own beliefs within a larger worldview - at discerning what ulterior motives he may have for asserting what he did (what other activities he means to advocate, and why) - and at preparing your rebuttals to those.
