Only 1 hour and 14 minutes to go
Assuming it's not sold out, Tom the Funkypundit and I are going to see BORAT! Woooooo.
UPDATE: Is it ok to say I didn't love it? It's just too awkward for me. I watched most of it with my hands over my eyes. Some parts were just painful. And I hated that scene in the middle, you all know the one I mean.

Don't take your 15 year-old daughter...like I did. Big mistake.
Not as funny as advertised...
Posted by: Butch at November 6, 2006 10:57 PMThere was a family there, mom, dad, two kids no older than 11 with the daughter wearing a Coors Light t-shirt.
Posted by: Karol at November 7, 2006 01:12 AMYou and Funky saw Borat in good ole' Kentucky?
Posted by: Ari at November 7, 2006 02:04 AMClassy.
I actually remember seeing a family with two children-neither of which appeared to be over ten years of age-at Loew's when "The Crow" was first released.
Go figure.
Posted by: Gerard at November 7, 2006 02:14 AMI can definitely see it making people cringe. Then again, as Allahpundit is unsurprised to hear, I am all in favor of more rear-angle closeups of a fat, hairy man's scrotum.
Posted by: Joe Grossberg at November 7, 2006 10:42 AMA friend and I saw SE7EN when it came out. We went to the late showing to avoid crowds. A couple brought their two kids to the movie and neither of them looked any older than 6 or 7 years old. Unbelievable. I wonder if they were asked on the way home. "Momma, what was in the box?"
Posted by: ccs178 (Chris) at November 7, 2006 12:59 PMThat beats my story.
Actually, I remember seeing a family at a performance of Cabaret on Broadway a few years ago.
I can't see how a musical set in pre-Nazi Germany is a fitting subject for tots, but I suppose some kids are more mature than others.

I saw Cabaret as a teen, and a lot of the stuff was over my head.
Posted by: Joe Grossberg at November 8, 2006 11:55 AMWell, there ya go.
