Take with many grains of salt.
Politicker claims to have some early exit poll numbers which, predictably, look grim for Republicans. Of course, the fact that Steele is only down by 3 in these polls could signal a win for him as many are predicting (seriously, fingers so crossed).
Of course, Politicker completely missed the mark today on why Harold Ford is going down in flames in Tennessee. It's racism, don'tya know, unrelated to the fact that Ford pulled a crazy stunt which backfired on him in a big way. The writer, Steve Kornacki, makes some big, sweeping, very New Yorkish pronouncements in his post (such as Democrats will be unlikely to support a black candidate like Ford again) prompting me to ask him if he'd ever been to the south. As of yet, no response.

So Ford is behind in the exit poll by 4 points in a Republican state which means he "is going down in flames" and Steele is down by 3 in a Democratic state and he has a chance to win ?
Posted by: Von Bek at November 7, 2006 06:42 PMHow could people refuse to vote for Ford fils?
Don't you realize that he worked for the Committee To Re-Elect The President, kneecapping rancid hippies who soiled Old Glory?
