What about sick old people?

Church of England says it's ok to leave sick newborns to die.

For that matter, what about Terri Schiavo?

This is enlightened European progressive thinking at its finest; you can kill a newborn---but not a terrorist !

What about the youth in asia?

Shouldn't that be "Bishop in Church of England"? Anyways, the report doesn't apply to newborns - only to the severely premature to the extent that matters to you. And if, for instance, a baby is born prematurely at 22 weeks (the cutoff for the report) without kidneys, I would say that yes it is ok to let the newborn die rather than keeping the baby alive as long as possible with a kidney dialysis machine for what would be a very short, very painful life.

Would that Republican Senators had taken the same approach toward Trent Lott....

Once again, an article from the most rabid of the British tabloids. As I have mentioned, this is the paper which opposed the passage of jews fleeing from Nazi tyranny. Huge pinch of salt required with every story.

I don't think giving them to sick old people will solve anything.
