Our poker blog, I Had Outs, has been on fire recently and I didn't want y'all to miss out on the fun just because you might not play poker.

-Poker blogger F-Train made up a phrase to describe bad play, named after the player Dutch Boyd who is considered to have played poorly but gotten lucky against last year's World Series of Poker winner Joe Hachem during a WSOP event this year. It's "Way to go, Dutch!" The idea is, if you make a bad call but end up winning through sheer luck, you throw your arms up in the air and say "Way to go, Dutch!" Dawn took to this phrase like a house on fire. Anyway, last week, Dawn had her very own "Way to go, Dutch" moment when she squeezed out a win under ridiculous circumstances. She wrote about her donktastic (that means 'bad' in pokerese) play on our site. And who should comment on her post? Dutch Boyd! (Yes, it really was him, we confirmed through various channels and found out he found us through Google Alerts which, likely, means he's reading this right now! Hi Dutch! I'm the nice one, fyi, who would never use your name in vain.) He very sarcastically said that she played that hand perfectly. We thought that was pretty cool.

-I had to lay the smack down on a doofus who chose to mess with the wrong girls. Warning: I use colorful language that I would never use here on Alarming News.

-I leave for Vegas tomorrow. The Rodeo is going to be in town while I'm there. The Rodeo! Unlike President Bush, this is my "first Rodeo". I do love looking at cowboys. Mmmhmmm.
