The weekend themes for discussion are the 2008 Presidential Election, the broader GOP in 2008, and Border Security and Immigration. Needless to say, you do not want to miss this great opportunity and a great national network of next generation Republicanleaders like yourself.PAC Background
The Maverick PAC (“MAV PAC”)-a Federal non‐connected political action committee was organized by 11 Bush&Cheney ’04 Mavericks from Texas. MAV PAC has three main purposes: (i) support the election of Republican incumbents and candidates to state and federal offices; (ii) promote the interests ofthe Republican Party; and (iii) advocate the involvement of members in state and federal government. MAV PAC is the only group of its kind in the country and has grown quickly in number and represents all next generation republicans, generally under the age of 45. Its members currently hail from the Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and the Washington, D.C. areas. During the 2004 campaign, President Bush’s team organized 90 Mavericks from across the country-supporters under the age of 40 committed to energizing other young professionals and raising funds for the President and the Reublican National Committee (RNC). Instrumental to the President’s successful re-election, these 90 Mavericks raised and contributed more than $13.5 million–10 times the targets set by the Bush campaign. In Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, San Antonioand Washington, D.C www.maverickpac.com mavpac@maverickpac.comAll contributions to Maverick PAC USA may be used for federal election purposes. Paid for by Maverick PAC USA and not authorized by
any candidate or candidate’s committee. Contributions to Maverick PAC USA are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.
January 2005 during the President’s inauguration, the national Bush
Mavericks convened and discussed the permanent organization and
expansion their proven GOP networks. The Texas team has formed an
independent PAC and the group has now been successfully operational
for nearly 2 years. Please visit our website for more information at www.maverickpac.com.
