I saw a "Rudy Giuliani for President" bumper sticker in New Jersey yesterday.

Not really, given Bush's extreme lame duck status, and the fact that Demo candidates are already lining up to announce. Plus, Rudi is a moderate Republican, which is something the Party desperately needs after the horse whipping the right wing took in the last election (deservedly so, IMHO).
To be blunt, the Party also needs someone who can project a positive image of leadership. No one in the Republican field does that better than Rudi.
