Two big differences. Edwards was able to fly under the radar in 2004. Looking at Iowa, when Gephardt and Dean started trashing each other, Kerry and Edwards started to take off. Edwards never got trashed in the primaries since by the time he emerged it was Kerry's to lose. Even now Edwards has suprisingly low negatives considering he has been on the national stage for four years. Obama and Edwards are both going to take some hits this time out. The other ? Obama has nothing to do with a war that the American people have increasingly rejected. You better believe he will talk about that, especially when compared with Hillary. And the media will gush about how much of a statesman he is.

Can we really have two "two Americas"? Does that mean there's four Americas, will they have the same two Americas, or will each have his own two Americas on a separate axis?

Edwards is a smart guy and will start to rev it up soon enough. I'm sure he will be the front runner in the end. Plus, he has accomplished something in office since he has been there. Although, his claim to fame has never to been to own a baseball team and send thousands of innocent kids to die for oil...but that is another topic all together.
