I ain't no pretty boy
Ben Smith reports that Obama is striking out at his fan base, the national media:
In his first news conference as a candidate, Obama says the mainstream media is looking at him superficially rather than based on the issues.
Gosh, really?

Who cares what he has to say when he just says everything so articulately? I know I'm swooning.
Posted by: Marco at February 11, 2007 08:04 PMHe is the front runner so he is new meat for the MSM attack dogs.
Posted by: Jake at February 11, 2007 11:25 PMI think Jake is on to something here (though I don't know if I would call Obama the front runner). All of the major candidates will be facing the attack dogs (and of course the other campaigns will be out to help) and the minor candidates will be given passes (does anyone care about the skeletons in Duncan Hunter's or Mike Gravel's closets?). So by the end of this two year campaign, we end up loathing the candidates and generally voting for the lesser of two evils.

He's behind by double digits in both New Hampshire and Iowa the last time I checked.

"If I were running al-Qaida in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and be praying as many times as possible for a victory, not only for Obama but also for the Democrats."
John Howard, Australiam PM, slams B Hussein Osama!
