A Brief Introduction (By Guest Blogger John Budnick)
Thank you, Karol, for that kind introduction. First, I would like to clear up a small misconception. Although people like Karol often get the impression that I would be interesting, I'm not. I work in the accounting department for a small community bank in Midtown Manhattan. That means that I look at numbers all day, and they're not very interesting numbers either.
To compensate, I enjoy going to great parties and meeting interesting people, like Karol. When I can't find a good party to crash, I host. Hosting is one of the best ways to meet interesting people and by being the host, you get the benefit of being associated with the best people there. This frequently causes some confusion and I get mistaken for being interesting, which we have already established that I am not.
Now that this misconception has been cleared up, on to the blogging.
