It's official

I am 30.

I've gotten two amazing presents already.

Commenter Jake and his wife Mrs. Jake gave me a gorgeous necklace when Dawn and I met them for dinner in Vegas:

And Peter is taking me to see my love Jarvis Cocker on Sunday:

So far, 30 is not so bad.

If I saw you walking down the street, I'd place your age at about 24, 25.

Let us know if Jarvis plays "Common People."

You don't look a day older than the day I met you over a decade ago. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! Two of my favorite chick poker writers with birthdays on the same day! Who'd a thunk it? Amy Calistri is also today.

Geez, I feel old.

But Happy Birthday, don't give a moment's thought to your geriatric friends on the first anniversary of your 29th birthday!

I would wish you a happy birthday, but Simon Cowell might roll his eyes.

Instead, I will wonder, how you can be so smart, yet so young?

If it makes you feel any better, I have a pair of cowboy boots that are older than you.

Our friends love us, but 30 is old. I'm 30 in 5 days. It sucks.

Hundreds of years ago, when kids respected their elders and married people stayed married, it would make me proud to be old.

Now it just sucks. I need a drink and a kiss from a fine woman.
