Americans are the second-best tourists in the world. Japanese tourists are #1. French are the worst.

They don't seem to mind being at the Plaza Athénée wearing sneakers or shopping at Gucci on Avenue Montaigne wearing PAJAMAS! (true story!)... but other than that, I love you guys :)

Posted by: Julien at May 25, 2007 02:12 AMThe USA inherited the good tipping habit from the Germans who are also quite high up. The UK scores badly because of the "Brits on the piss" knoheads (who almost always have England shirts on). We also tip badly on the whole.
