Blogroll Update
NY:
Ditmas Park Blog- Ben Smith, and his very cool wife Liena, have started a blog about their neighborhood, once called Flatbush, now called "Ditmas Park." The first person to find anything resembling a park anywhere near Ditmas, um, wins.

Picky! Prospect Park isn't even 5 blocks away.
Posted by: Ari at June 25, 2007 10:44 PMNo way! Prospect Park is much further and, anyway, Prospect Park is in the neighborhood of "Prospect Park".
Posted by: Karol at June 26, 2007 12:51 AM"Ditmas" is an Iroquois word for "he who must make do without"
Posted by: E2 at June 26, 2007 09:32 AMWhat Ari said - the Cortelyou Q stop is 5 (very) long blocks from Prospect Park (as are several other neighborhoods not called Prospect Park - by the way, is there even a Prospect Park neighborhood? It almost sounds like you're becoming a Manhattanite and forgoing those Brooklyn roots of yours...)

GASP. You take that back. There is (or perhaps was before the Real Estate people got too smart for their own good) a neighborhood called Prospect Park. There was never a neighborhood called Prospect Heights. Ditto for Ditmas Park, Lefferts Gardens or any number of other made up names.

Don't tell me you're working for Bruce Ratner now!?
