Bright ideas

The ban on trans-fats is now a reality in NY. Writes Tom Elliott: "The trans-fat ban boils down to this: fried food remains unhealthy, it now just tastes worse and costs more." Awesome.

Yay Babysitter-Bloomberg!! Can't wait to see the tiny little effette man campaign in Arkansas with his trans-fat legacy.

I, for one, applaud our mayor. Obesity is epidemic in this country and I'm glad to see our government finally take some action before any more children or elderly die from trans-fats.

"The trans-fat ban boils down to this: fried food remains unhealthy, it now just tastes worse and costs more."

Which, in turn, forces people to either pay more money, which equals more taxes, or to give up things they love.

Which sounds like Bloomberg's ideology in a nutshell.

Marco... staying up late is bad for you.

Breathing in fumes from idling buses is bad for you. Are you not smart enough to fend for yourself? Do you call Bloomberg to take away the spoon when you're having ice cream, so you don't eat too much? I have a hard time believing you need Bloomberg to save you at every turn.

I'm sorry that some can't moderate for themselves but even obesity isn't a crime. And with so many other evils in the world, trust my dilettante mayor to go after french fries.

Though, with constant electrical issues, over crowding on the sub-standard subway system and the influx of homeless in my neighborhood, I can see where black & white cookies were dooming us.

You get what you vote for - remember that when his name is on the ballot. We have terrorism to fight and this twit is attacking grease.

That's why we need President Hillary! Cookies must be forced to embrace diversity!
