Either very fake or very scary
I saw the headline "British woman marries bin Laden's son" and didn't really think too much of it.
But then this: "Jane Felix-Browne, a 51-year-old grandmother and parish councillor from Cheshire, has until now kept her marriage to Omar Ossama bin Laden, 27, secret from everyone apart from her immediate family and close friends.
...
She was aware before her marriage that her husband already had another wife and a two-year-old child. “I haven’t seen her but I have spoken to her for about an hour on the telephone,” she said. “She is fine about it.”"
Oh, and also he lives in Jedda, Saudi Arabia and she lives in Cheshire, England.
What is the British law on a woman marrying a man in another country who already has a wife? Why would this woman marry a man 24 years her junior who lives in Saudi Arabia? Is this story not completely suspicious?

not suspicious at all. just odd. but people do odd things all the time.
Posted by: E3 at July 11, 2007 09:57 AMIt's true that stranger things have happened, though I'd have to assume he's doing it so he can move to England. I mean, not that you'd need to question the motivation for a 27-year-old to marry a 51-year-old, five-times-divorced grandmother with MS.
