Open letter
Dear potential advertisers,
I am averaging 3,327 unique hits a day and have zero ads. Where are you all? Why did I have multiple ads when I was averaging half that?
Just wondering,
Karol

I'll run a 3-month, $200 Ron Paul ad if you promise to vote for him.
Posted by: E2 at July 17, 2007 05:31 PMImpressive. What's driving those numbers?
I don't know what the deal is with BlogAds. I've set fairly reasonable prices for my traffic level, I think. I used to have two advertisers on a consistent basis. Some months ago the ads seemed to dry up, and it doesn't seem to be just me. I had one ad placed recently, but I rejected it -- it was for a pharmaceutical product of dubious value.

Posted by: Frank White at July 18, 2007 12:07 PMI see the Ron Paul ad is up - does that mean you agreed to vote for him (per comment on July 17)?
Posted by: Charles at July 18, 2007 03:21 PMThe ad was put up independent of Karol's future vote for the freedom-loving Barry Goldwater-conservative Dr. Paul.
Posted by: aknappjr at July 18, 2007 04:00 PMBanner ads don't work, in terms of profitability. People just tune them out. If you're trying to get a message out there, instead of getting people to click, it might be less of a concern.
