By not paying her employees well she ended up with bitter non-performing people who probably cost her money and anger.
By not paying income taxes she owed, she eventually paid much more than she originally owed plus she went to jail. The resulting publicity did untold damage to her corporation.
By stiffing her vendors, she could not get good vendors to work for her and that cost her money and anger.
Generosity pays even if you are poor. By not being generous, she reduced her fortune and lived an unhappy life.
