Granted, it's just a snippet, but that scene seems like it was taken almost word-for-word from the corresponding American episode.
This reminds me of when they tried to do a remake of the Odd Couple with black actors, but the same exact scripts.
I guess for people who aren't familiar with the series it's okay.

A family of depressed, miserable, and scheming BC/lower middle class degenerates allow the masses to laugh at themselves. It also shows the failures of "capitalism" to bring happiness or virtue.
Sounds like a Soviet morality play, except that the "good couple" next door are also kulaks and are also secretly degenerate.
