Don't judge me.
I've already admitted to liking Mandy Stadtmiller's dating column. I don't know why, honestly, it's way too adorable for me but she just hits it on the head sometimes:

I used to like reading Amy Sohn's columns, although her work for the NY Post wasn't as interesting as the columns she penned for the NY Press or New York Magazine.
I remember my brother looking at that novel she wrote-it actually wasn't that bad, believe it or not-which I had given to my sister as a Christmas present, with this dismissive sneer on his face. I think he called it "that chick crap," or words to that effect.
I think I've looked at that new dating column once or twice and given up after a paragraph usually. It's not even the fact that she writes about things, places, people, etc., which I don't care about, but the way she writes, which is, IMO, indigestible.
I think 90% of the paper's editorial content is garbage though-no offense to Tom, most of the op-eds he writes are the exception to the rule-and has been ever since Murdoch started interfering with editorial oversight and sacked editors like Scott McConnell. I miss Eric Breindel (R.I.P.), Hilton Kramer, and the syndicated columns they used to carry, e.g. Don Feder, Cal Thomas, among others.
Didn't Gersh Kuntzman used to write some sort of relationship advice column for The Post?
