Rightwingers in NY have an abundance of choices of events to attend tonight. In order of start time:

The first 20 people through the door get a free drink. Enjoy their huge beer selection and try some free appetizers....as long as you get there early! Lorely is at 7 Rivington between Bowery and Chrystie on the Lower East Side.

October 3, 2007, 8:00pm (free admission, cash bar): Lolita Bar Debates present “Is the Ivy League Superior?” YES: David Robinson (of Princeton, Oxford, and formerly ACSH). NO: comedienne/performance artist Michele Carlo. Todd Seavey hosts and Michel Evanchik moderates. The debates, usually pitting two opponents against each other (in a civil and often humorous fashion), take place on the basement level of Lolita Bar at 266 Broome St. at the corner of Allen St. on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, one block south and three west of the Delancey St. F, J, M, Z subway stop.

October 3, 2007, 9:30pm: The NY Post's Robert George will compete for the title of NY's Funniest Reporter. He won the bronze last year and is going for the gold! Gotham Comedy Club, 208 W. 23rd Street! Proceeds go to charity. Call 212-367-9000 for reservations. This show is part of the New York Underground Comedy Festival, running from September 28-October 7.
