Morphine's music is very noir-ish, like it could be the soundtrack to a modern-day Humphrey Bogart film.
It would have been fun to see them tour with the most noir-ish band of all-time, Portishead.
I love Morphine, "Good" is an incredible album and "The Night" is one of my favorite songs ever.

The two surviving members are in a band called the Twinemen, who are also pretty good.
