Mike Huckabee is picking up steam

First Jim Pinkerton comes out for Mike Huckabee and now Chuck Norris issues his endorsement. Back in August of 2005, I wrote:

Look for the nominee to be a popular governor of a medium sized state. It'll be someone we're not thinking of right now and he (yes, he, people) will be happily married, likely to his first wife. He will have had plenty of experience campaigning, will be pro-life and unequivocally against gay marriage. Most of his secrets have already come out during his previous campaign. He will not have a New York accent.

Could Huckabee be that guy?

And he will get flat-out trampled.

Shut it, Joe. Go Huckabee! Bring on the Bee!

Only thing I don't like about him is that he's in favor of a nationwide smoking ban. Much too nanny-statist for me.

Huckabee could be that guy if the other candidates are unsuccessful at making an issue of his fiscal record in Arkansas and his inclinations toward open borders.

It all depends on what issues are looming largest to the voters. Schwarzenegger's recent actions are making social conservatives very nervous about trusting a social liberal like Rudy with power.

You read here...

Rudy is NOT the candidate for President.

Rudy has a promise to “Self Implode” and for much more to come down on him.

Rudy is no where in the polls of the early states.

Mitt, Huckabee and/or Thompson will be the candidates. If they combine for a PR before elections as one of them joining the other as VP, the elections will be over before you know it.

BTW....Clinton beats Rudy by 34 plus points in New York and 27 points in California.

Informnation is out there for all the pollsters , which is now killing Rudy BS Spin on putting those states in play if he was to be the candidate.

Dumb statement for him to even make. This also reason for Rudy Deflation

As someone else once said, no man named Huckabee will ever be president.

Huckabee isn't a bad guy.

But he's horrible on taxes and spending.

Mike "Tax and Spend"-abee

Not to mention his illegal immigration stance.
