What my friends are blogging
**Philip Klein got Keith Olbermann to admit he was wrong about something. The fact that Olbermann is wrong about everything is neither here nor there.
**Dawn Summers had foot surgery and she's handling it with the stoicism for which she is nationally renowned...if that nation was France.
**Funkypundit was trying to put me on to Sharon Jones for the entire time I've known him. And I, foolishly, didn't listen. But it's not too late! Sharon is unreal. Check out this video. It's off the hizook.
**I haven't gotten involved in a comment section skirmish in awhile. Two guys that I've known most of my life do a site and radio show called "Evil Liberals". I've written before (when one of them, Ralph, had a site called Bitter Pills) that I'm baffled that we had such similar upbringings and such different results. I defend Brian Maloney of the indispensable Radio Equalizer here and take on a "Rudy watch" item here.

Yeah, she's amazing.
It's hard to believe that she was middle-aged before any big execs in the music industry took notice of her talent.

I am what you guys would consider a hardcore leftist but I'm intrigued by this blog, because the comments seem alien but interesting to me, and the blogroll doesn't contain the usual, run-of-the-mill neocon slop, so hopefully you'll put up with me as a fellow traveler and occasional poster for a bit, till I figure out where I'm going and where I belong.
I sometimes comment on "Evil Liberals", so it's all Jared's fault I'm here...:)
Anyhow, interesting blog. Let me know if I am unwelcome.
