Song of the Day

"She's Not There" by the Zombies.

One of my happiest memories of my college years in Boston is getting down to this song at a Britpop (yes, I know Zombies aren't "Britpop", but whatever) club. It was called Attic, or Shelter, or something. It was in the middle of nowhere and just generally different from the usual Bostonian clubs lining Landsdowne Street. I remember this song coming on and the crowd just going wild to it.

I need to go dancing.

Check out the version by Santana sometime; it's on the Moonflower album IIRC.
