Is that the number of years TO will eventually serve in prison?
Posted by: Jamie at November 19, 2007 01:47 AMOhhhhhhhh snap. I'll channel Dawn Summers here: "how come you just assume the black guy is going to prison, huh?"
Posted by: Karol at November 19, 2007 02:27 AMI had to ask my friend who was a Redskins fan: "Umm, at what point does a guy get double coverage? I'm thinking after this third wide open touchdown, but that just might be me."
Good game! Great last quarter. Yet, on the same night, Randy Moss also made 4 touch downs off ---- yes ---- oh my god --- is he a god ---- Tom Brady.
Posted by: toby at November 19, 2007 09:42 AMAnd it might have been five if that schoolyard lob off the 3rd high snap (is Romo 7'5"? I mean seriously) ended up 3" to one side. It was almost awesome.
Posted by: Nikhil at November 19, 2007 09:51 AMWhere's Larry's excuse filled commment on why his team lost?
Posted by: TO at November 19, 2007 10:57 AMWhy no picture of Randy Moss? He had four touchdowns Sunday too, for the team that beat the Cowboys a few weeks ago.
Posted by: Steve at November 19, 2007 11:00 AMThe Cowboys are lucky that Sean Taylor was injured. He woulda laid a hurtin' on T.O. Carlos Rogers, too. The Skins are decimated, but will prevail next time.
Posted by: FunkyPundit at November 19, 2007 11:01 AMIn the famous words of dennis green..."THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE, AND WE LET THEM OFF THE HOOK".
My boys bitch slapped the cowboys up and down the field...unfortunately our once great head coach is a dinosaur and needs to be extinct from the NFL, the same way parcells needed to go.
anyone who knows football, knows that T.O. is afraid of sean taylor..his absence was huge for us....here's the bottom line...you'd better hope we don't get healthy and make the playoffs....YOUR ASS IS OURS!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Larry at November 19, 2007 11:50 AMExcuses, excuses...
Posted by: Shawn at November 19, 2007 12:59 PMTwo excuse filled comments!!
Let's be real, the skins are an inconsistent team that can't finish a game (see week 3 vs NYG, week 5 vs GB, last week vs Phi and this week) which will likely be the main reason you don't get a chance at play-off revenge.
Posted by: TO at November 19, 2007 01:45 PMnot excuses...facts.
I agree that we've blown games...no doubt about it...we can beat any team in the NFC...so you'd better hope detroit or arizona make the playoffs ahead of us....sean taylor will be there to slap T.O. around the next time
Posted by: Larry at November 19, 2007 02:27 PM..we can beat any team in the NFC...
Except for the Giants, Packers, Eagles and Cowboys
...so you'd better hope detroit or arizona make the playoffs ahead of us...
I do. I wouldn't want to see the Skins get blown out in a game carried nationally.
Wait, I'm kidding. I'd freakin' love to see that. ;)
Posted by: Shawn at November 19, 2007 02:40 PMThat last comment was priceless!!!!! LOL! No, that would be the number of bastard children he has running around.
Perdiction: JETS win 20-10.
Posted by: Hruick Pascal at November 19, 2007 04:45 PMPerdiction: JETS win 20-10.
When that doesn't happen will you stop leaving me "Cowboys Suck" comments on my MySpace page?
Posted by: Karol at November 19, 2007 05:36 PMPrediction: JETS win 20-10
Only if they're playing Rutgers. ;)
Posted by: Shawn at November 19, 2007 05:47 PM"how come you just assume the black guy is going to prison, huh?"
He's black? I didn't notice because I don't see color, you racist pig!
Posted by: Jamie at November 19, 2007 10:39 PMLooking at the scheme the Redskins were stubbornly staying in, I'm not sure Ronnie Lott in his prime would've stopped those TDs. Sorry, but in which of those TDs was a Redskin even close when he caught the ball? Yeah, Taylor's fast and hits like a jackhammer--but the guy in there wasn't _that_ much slower, and it looked like all of those were scheme, not player, breakdowns.
Posted by: James at November 20, 2007 12:09 AMLet me give you a stat...the last 5 quarters minus sean taylor the Skins have given up 5 passes over 30 yards...the previous 35 quarters with taylor they had given up a total of 6 plays over 30 yards...the scheme is not the issue, but they used the wrong scheme with the players they had.
here's another stat...T.O. had no games of over 100 yards in 5 meetings that sean taylor played in.
