Jim Pinkerton joins Mike Huckabee campaign. (Hat-tip Allah)
I like Jim a lot, even though I disagree with him on much. He's extremely smart and a great addition to any campaign. Huck haters should worry. Jim was one of the first Huck supporters I knew, back before it seemed he had anything resembling a chance.
Jim Geraghty runs down "controversial" things Jim has written with which Huck might disagree. I think that's unfair. I'm sure a similar list can be put together for the advisors on every campaign. Rudy has pro-gun people on his policy team, I'm confident other candidates disagree with much of what people on their respective teams have written in the past. I know the Stop Huck movement is growing on the Republican side but going after his advisors doesn't seem like the way to go.

Can Huck really mandate Christ?
I love God and hope his word is not being betrayed.
Two points:
1) Can Huck really mandate Christ?
Sorry, Christ doesn't swing that way. If Huck wants a man-date, try John Edwards.
2) Huck is the anti-Reagan.

If those are the only "troublesome" quotes of Pinkerton, he should not hurt the campaign. If anything, those quotes show that Pinkerton is not a man who just repeats the party line, but someone who thinks for himself. That is very valuable to have on a campaign.
