The most embarrassing campaign of all time.

Obama calls Republicans who support him 'Obamacans'. (Via Hot Air Headlines)

Gag me with a spoon.

I call them Democrats, myself.

UPDATE: No, really, how does anyone associated with this trite, nauseatingly emotive campaign walk around with their face showing?

"I'm a conservative, but I have gay friends," Pedaline explains over dinner at a Columbus diner. "I have friends who don't believe in abortion, but I don't condemn them for it; I don't feel like Obama is condemning me for being a Republican."

Wow, so, he's a conservative...but he has gay friends. That's so novel. It's almost as if the two things have nothing to do with each other at all. And he has friends who don't believe in abortion. Like, what don't they believe about it, exactly? Do they deny the existence of abortion? Is it like not believing in aliens? And, of course, the best part, he doesn't feel that this UBER-liberal is condemning him for being a Republican. That's so sweet. I love feelings in general but I especially love feelings when they tell you everything you need to know about your presidential candidate. Obama wouldn't condemn Pedaline for being a Republican. Why would he? Pedaline is willing to support Obama based not on reason, or issue-analysis, or anything logical, but on this warm feeling all up inside him.

No, people, Obama won't win in the general. There just aren't as many doofuses as the stories on people like Pedaline would have us believe.

so, does that mean that, being gay, i'm a self-hating republican and a self-hating gay?

Obama has a chance because McCain looks like someone the morticians haven't quite finished.

It's that simple.

You said it, Karol. Nice rant.

"I'm a conservative, but I have gay friends umm...and the Obama campaign is pretty gay -- not homosexual, just gay --- so I feel totally comfortable supporting it.

I call them Democrats, myself.

I call them Republicans who are fed up with the current Administration and Independent voters who see McCain spouting the same rhetoric that Bush has been for the past couple of years.

Politics in our country is not completely Republican/Democrat, Karol. That's why there's constant talk of the "moderate" or "swing" vote.

No, people, Obama won't win in the general.

The more that people scoff and say there's "no chance" that Obama will win the Presidency, the more he has an advantage. Mrs. Clinton has been saying the same thing for months and look where she is now. Obama has been the underdog for his whole campaign and that's another reason people might vote for him.

I saw the article last night and nearly wrote about it myself. The guy actually said he picked Obama because of the sqooshy warm feeling the O-Man gave him.

Obaminators would be a better word, IMHO.

I wonder when the MSM will scrutinize Obama's background. He has this simmering scandal involving Tony Rezko and a deeply discounted acre of land in an already hot redevelopment zone. He also came out of the Chicago democratic machine. So how clean is he, really?

Its worth. To not believe in abortion is to believe there's no good in it.

Don't you have a gay friend?

"I don't feel like Obama is condemning me for being a Republican."

That's because no one has challenged Obama's extreme left wing views. Once that happens, Obama's hate for Normal Americans will shine through.

But Pokerwolf, let's be honest, Barack Obama is not a moderate---he's a radical left winger who merely TALKS about 'unifying everyone' behind his points of view.

If anyone, it's John McCain who has co-sponsored Senate bills with Democrats.
He's the bi-partisan candidate. That's why he isn't especially popular among conservatives.

The Obama plan achieves unity by winning every issue of political contention for the left and then saying, "There, now we don't have to argue over THAT anymore!" There is no talk of compromise on his website. Total victory = total unity.
