Honestly, I think you'd have to move the trial somewhere on the other side of Michigan to get away from the publicity.

We should not expect morals or ethics from any of our elected leaders. These are giving us a government that has run Christianity out of the public square, taxed us beyond belief, run up the debt, undermined our language and our culture, sponsored torture and allowed the abomination of millions of abortions. Why should we expect our leaders who give us this to live godly lives?

I don't think it's a matter of "godly" lives as much as "moral" ones. Furthermore, I think none of the problems you listed are the root cause of why our government officials are proving to be morally lacking.
