Song of the Day II

I know I already had a music post today but I had the song "Some Velvet Morning" by Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra in my head this morning and found this super-trippy video of the song on YouTube.

My father was listening to my ipod last year and came across Nancy Sinatra's big hit "These boots were made for walking." He was telling me how in love he was with Nancy Sinatra when he was a teenager, how beautiful she was. Thinking out loud, I said "she would be like...what, 70 or so now?" I could not have ruined my dad's day more. His permanent memory of her was beautiful and young, singing about her go-go boots.

Two song of the day posts? I haven't seen blogging this lazy since I last checked the poker blog. Did you ever write that letter of apology to Cher? Bang, bang

Nancy is smokin. Have you ever heard the song Sugar Town? Its the best. I almost met her when I was dating a girl in Arizona. She lived on a ranch in a small town near Cornville. Would have loved to see those boots a walkin although she is probably in a wheel chair by now..
