Haha...I find it kind of endearing.

Sure, but does he have a nickname for the pope, like "Popy", or "Pope Blossom"?

Happy Birthday, nutmeg. LOL. Thinking. Angry. Time. Ok. Dead. (Tell the donut stealer I'll explain it to him over on myspace.)

I think he's OK, as long as he never called the Pope "Dude". Or Pope-meister.

I don't see the problem with this really. It's part of your everyday language isn't it?
Should he have said it in Latin or something "speechus shithottus".

Cringing at this is as bad as a big sister cringing at her little brother in Europe for being "soooo American".

Unless it's the sycophancy you are cringing at..

God Bless W. He just doesn't do formal very well. wasn't Queen Elizabeth's visit the only time he's worn tails as Prez or something? I think more of us should follow this lead and 'dress down' a bit.

Hey, at least he's not on his knees 'servicing' Hamas like former douche-bag-in-chief Jimmy Carter.

Snoop, seriously, the bad people W is servicing is quite a long one. It goes with the job. Saudis, chinese, turks and many more in recent presidencies.

Certainly, but he's doing it as a sitting head of state. Not as a retired peanut farmer who can't think of anything more positive to do than legitimize genocidal maniacs.

I thought Dubs just called him Benny. I heard that an entertainer sang an Elton John tune "Benny in the dress." NOT
