Talking about dumb Presidens, I read an interesting book recently. It is titled “War against Islam” and the author is George P. Robertson.

This novel is a fictional depiction of the rise of a right-wing Presidential candidate who wins the 2008 election, takes measures to reduce American dependence on Middle Eastern oil and then wages unfettered war on Islamic nations.

Sort of a mix between George Bush and Pat Robertson for President. Looking at a couple of reviews of the book on Amazon.com, it seems some are already trying to suppress the word of the book.

The book is a bit of a stretch of the author's imagination, but not impossible, especially if America is plagued by more terrorist attacks.

Thought you might be interested in such a daring work, as you portay yourself to be obsessed with politics :)

Almost every politician these days is an empty suit and those with half a brain are generally malicious. Having said that some of our most learned presidents (John Quincy Adams, Hebert Hoover, Jimmy Carter, Benjamin Harrison) have also been some of our worse.

I would venture a guess that Hawaii will be more competitive than Oregon this election cycle.
