Obama to lower ocean levels and heal planet. No, really.

It's like a Saturday Night Live skit only it's all too real.

That's some potent rhetoric there, Senator.

This guy has been isolated from real life his entire life. As a result, he is breathtakingly immature.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's EcoloMan! Powered by his own methane and carbon dioxide, EcoloMan lowers oceans by generating new polar ice and icebergs. EcoloMan lowers greenhouse gases by halting all economic development in China, India and the developing world. EcoloMan generates new job growth in America by expanding government. Lastly, EcoloMan brings peace to the Middle East and the world by retreating!

EcoloMan! He wants to heal the earth by poulticing our planet with the carbon of excess natal hominoid interlopers! Vote EcoloMan on Election Day!

We are building a religion
We are building it bigger
We are widening the corridors
And adding more lanes

We are building a religion
A limited edition
We are now accepting callers
For the pendant key chains

To resist it is useless
It is useless to resist it
His cigarette is burning
But he never seems to ash

He is grooming his poodle
He is living comfort eagle
You can meet at his location
But you better come with cash...

But what if it's the truth?

What if we now can finally get policy that puts long range goals first? That puts reality above political and religious agendas?

Instead of the mindless and spectacularly under-reaching, immature, panicked, short-sighted, reactionary and ignorant cry of Palin and her sidekick McCain, "Drill, baby, drill!," maybe we will get the serious scientific and technological backing by government we need to "Invent, baby, Invent!"

As anyone who's been involved in any tech startups knows, you need the grants up front for research & development, not a silly prize after all the work they couldn't afford to do has "fantastically" been done (not). McCain's still at the bottom of his class.

McCain is as abysmally behind the curve in the energy & water technology crisis as he was behind in the financial crisis.

Obama pressed for sub prime reform almost 2 years ago, while McCain opposed financial regulations and was only tepidly and peripherally for some weak fannie mae & freddie mac controls.

Donnez moi le fracture! Retire McCain and I look forward to a Democratic congress that can finally put through some sensible laws and get our nation on a better path.

I can't believe, given the condition of the Earth today, that anyone...ANYONE...would take issue with our President taking action to protect it.You should do some soul searching. Obama is a hero, a true leader, and history will praise him as such.
