Maybe I'm just growing a heart

The NY Times profiles socialite blogger Melissa Morris and, while the NYT tries real hard to make you hate her she comes off as completely adorable:

Mrs. Morris is well aware that her site can read like a parody of the rich and preppy. “I’m in on the joke,” she said. “The monogramming, marrying a guy named Chappy — you just have to go with it.”

"she comes off as completely adorable"

That statement proves you were born to be rich.

Chappy, eh? Sometimes people from a large Catholic family just run out of good saints names. Is she Catholic?

Society bloggers, how very. I had no idea there were such things.

The NY Times has run a number of undisguised and barely disguised criticisms of bloggers lately. They're like an old brontosaurus bellowing as it's consumed by newer, smarter raptors. This time the raptors aren't from LGF, they're from the Hamptons.
