One of two favorite dishes I've had in Italy so far, black spaghetti with clams and mussels in Venice (the other was an unforgettable blueberry filet steak in Florence. If you're going to Italy and need a few restaurant recommendations, email me and I'll give you the goods):

Eh, might as well post a pic of that blueberry filet, since I have of everything else:

This is a photo of the Tuscan countryside near the shopping outlet where the IC bought me some hot shoes (so far, 2 bags, 3 pairs of shoes and counting):

What could a blueberry filet possibly taste like? One recoils in horror.

BTW, the shoes, they're $15.99 at Target.

yes i second casca's question. was the blueberry sauce very sweet? how did they balance that out so as not to overpower the meat flavor? curious minds want to know......

I'm sorry, but the black linguini looks a little creepy. I'm sure it was delicious, but cosmetically speaking, it is looks like sea worms that have been extracting from someone's digestive tract.

Hmm, the black pasta reminds me of gagh from Star Trek. Serpent worms, prized by Klingons as a delicacy, "best when served live."
