How awesome was that primary?
"I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."- Hillary Clinton in a new John McCain ad. Posted by Karol at August 8, 2008 01:30 PM | TrackBack

He certainly is a maverick. Every Democrat in that commercial is hated by most Republicans. Who is McCain going to parade in front of the cameras next-the leaders of Al Quaida?
Posted by: Jake at August 8, 2008 02:53 PMAnyone hear about that foreign money he's having to return?
Posted by: bryan at August 8, 2008 06:42 PMI love how every subgroup of Republicans hates John McCain and then acts surprised when he reaches out to the PUMAs as a method of winning.
While I'm all about "we're staying home to teach the party a lesson" as a technique, don't express shock and dismay when the candidate takes you at your word.
Personally I'm coming to the conclusion if the Harridan from Hope doesn't pull something out of her hat in August there's going to be trouble for Clan Donkey in November. Obama should be monkey-stomping McCain in the polls right now--yet he's only up 3-7 points depending on who you listen to. If I was a Dem that'd have me needing a change of underwear. Especially since the chosen one thinks that the way you campaign is by going on vacation.
Posted by: James at August 8, 2008 07:05 PMThe press has overdone their support of the Dem this year. Even supporters are sick of hearing about Barack Obama.
Add to that the fact that people overstate their support for Obama in polls, and that polls are designed to tell people what to think rather than measuring existing opinion... it looks like the Democrats are on track to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again. As long as grumpy can keep his mouth shut.
The real question in my mind is what happens with Congress? I think the Republicans may pick up some seats over drilling.
Posted by: Eric at August 8, 2008 07:16 PMwhy dont mcain talk about something that willhelp us.lets talk about israel attacking us liberty and the killing of allthose us sailors in 1967 in the media cover up that followed. or cbs editind a mcain speech to make it sound better.
Posted by: gary brown at August 9, 2008 11:58 AMOh, I see the Republicans are going to make a deal on drilling instead of shoving it down Pelosi's throat. They really are the stupid party.
