That's so gay

Jonathan Crutchley, chairman of popular gay hookup site Manhunt, has been outed...as a John McCain supporter. Oh, the horror. Check out the hysterical statement from the site's founder:

I was arrested at the Supreme Court and FDA in Act-Up actions, and was the founder of the Grass Roots Gay Rights Fund, which over the years has raised more than $800K. I was the Treasurer of Out Week magazine, which was a powerful force in its time. I began giving Obama donations in March 2007, and I have sent several checks that have yet to be reported. The hat and t-shirt I wear say 'Obama for President', as does the sign in front of my house. I refuse to live in a country that is so marred by war and hate. To me, Barak (sic) is by far the best candidate, probably better than we deserve.

Newsflash: Obama opposes gay marriage. Just like John McCain. So we're clear, that's apparently better than gay people deserve.

Crutchley resigned as Chairman and everyone involved in this shameful debacle should be, um, ashamed.

Hat-tip Petitedov.

You're expecting a bunch of eye-scratching Nellies and Brucies to NOT cast out he who will not submit, and to be capable of shame over doing it??? Homosexualism is no less an -ism than any other belief system that requires one to wear the mental and emotional straight-jacket of the group. The Church of the Gay has its catechism and its excommunication procedures. The gay sign of membership this year is "Obama or die", and the infidel is publicly punished.

Log Cabins (R) could burn this year, and be rebuilt as Igloos before the November election. Sometimes shunning is just not enough, is it boys?

It's pretty scary he feels like he has to do this.
