Are the scientists Obama supporters?
Political flip-flops not necessarily dishonest, scientists say

Sounds like another consensus to me. The debate is over.
Posted by: Snoop-Diggity-DANG-Dawg at August 25, 2008 10:47 AMSo they're cool with this ad, then, as well? Dems for McCain make me chuckle every time.
Posted by: Nikhil at August 25, 2008 11:00 AMObama's flip-flops comes from another source.
Obama is a radical left thinker. His ideas have never been challenged since he left high school. He has keep himself isolated in a radical left cocoon all his adult life. He always thought his wacky ideas were mainstream.
But now he is being exposed to real life. People are disagreeing with him. Because of shock and awe he immediately abandons any idea that is challenged . It is now apparent that he will say anything to get elected.
But that radical left core is still intact and that is the core we will have to endure if he is elected President.
Posted by: Jake at August 25, 2008 11:04 AMYou do know that John McCain is your nominee, right? Tell me again how he was against Bush's tax cuts until he was for them.
Posted by: Not Dawn Summers at August 25, 2008 12:04 PMYeah Dawn! McBush is the big flip flopper here. A real toe thonger that McBush!
Posted by: Toby at August 25, 2008 02:19 PMThe lie: "Tell me again how he was against Bush's tax cuts until he was for them."
The truth: McCain oppossed the Bush tax cuts because there was no required commensurate cut in spending. Since then he realized, well, there's no way in hell to get the spending cuts, so we might as well have tax cuts for some supply-side effect.
You can spin it as a flip-flop, but it's not.
Oh, and I'm not voting for McCain in November.
Posted by: Perry Eidelbus at August 25, 2008 04:50 PMWhy not Perry? and who are you voting for?
Posted by: bryan at August 30, 2008 03:19 AMMcCain's still too conservative for me.
Though I really like his choice of Sarah Palin for his running mate, I'm voting for either Ron Paul or Bob Barr. I've never had the pleasure of meeting Paul, but I've met Barr twice. He's like me, an ex-Republican who discovered libertarianism.
