More Sarah!
Barack Obama: No one could've predicted the surge would work like it did.
Sarah Palin: If by "no one" you mean "no one except John McCain and many others" then yes "no one" made that prediction.

I think you might be obsessed with Sarah.

All of America is obsessed with Palin. Wacko Democrats and the MSM are obsessed with hatred of her. The other 75% of Americans are obsessed with love of Sarah Palin.
Any blogger who writes about Sarah will triple their hits.

Posted by: Moe & Curly at September 5, 2008 07:04 PMWow. I thought the Paulites were annoying commenters. At least their guy was STILL RUNNING FOR SOMETHING.
Posted by: Charles at September 5, 2008 09:46 PM"I think you might be obsessed with Sarah."
I'll just assume for no particular reason that you're referring to me, Larry. And yes, I am, obsessed with her. We love each other very much, and will be married very soon. Just as soon as I assassinate her husband, destroy the secret service, woo her to embrace my man-stench & join me in Holy Matrimony in Mother's basement. With Mother.
So 'yes', I suppose some might interpret that as "obsession".
Charles,
Huck isn't running for president?...what?...ever see the movie 50 first dates?...that's me...everyday to me is the day after the Iowa caucus.
Posted by: Larry at September 6, 2008 12:22 AMI write about Sarah all the time and I still dont get hits.....
Then again, I took about a year off blogging.
Posted by: Ben McKnight at September 6, 2008 08:57 AMSarah Palin’s sneering remarks in her Republican National Convention speech about community organizers are – for many people – tantamount to anti-Americanism of the most base kind. Our great nation was built by good people who got together with their fellow neighbors, fellow members of the faithful and fellow workers; rolled up their sleeves and put hammer to nail and patriotism to task in making a better world for all of us. That’s what community organizing means. When Sarah Palin bashed 24-year-old Barack Obama for rejecting a job on Wall Street to serve hard-working Middle Americans who were reeling from steel-mill closings, when she bashed this true American hero, she bashed America itself. And, she bashed our national dream. Sarah Palin – as folksy as she appears – is no patriot.
Posted by: Therese Vaughn at September 6, 2008 06:22 PMTo most of us, Therese, "Community Organizer" means "underpaid peon doing the legwork for ACORN, ANSWER, La Raza, etc.
Maybe once upon a time it was about barn raising, crop sharing, and bridge building; now it's about the best way to leach off of those who don't have enough sense to stop electing guys like Ray Naggin.
So I get this suspicion that every time Barak Obama emphasizes the importance of "Community Organizing", he just reinforces the doubts of those who'd like to like him, but just aren't sure about what he stands for.
Side point; a LOT of people in small-town America know their mayor personally, and if they don't like the mayor, at least respect the person holding the office. But if you aren't an out-and-about-the-hood type living in in an urban environment, you may never have actually seen a "Community Organizer." In that regard, Obama has been a great mascot for the profession; but it still leaves the question of what most of them do open to exploration, and I wouldn't doubt at all that there are plans to do some exploring-in-advertising by the RNC.
Cheers, patriot.
Posted by: Mark Poling at September 6, 2008 08:00 PMI guess it depends what the term means. In my neck of the woods, "community organizer" is a euphemism for shake-down artist.
Ask Karol what she thinks of Al Sharpton. Then run.

Don't you mean 'hammer & sickle', Therese? As a member of the Communist Party of America, one might expect you'd know such things.

Hahaha.
Posted by: Karol at September 6, 2008 10:51 PMDear Therese Vaughn,
For your better understanding who is Community Organizer, I offer this article to your attention.
In all probability you are aware of the truth and choose to put the smoke screen deliberately - but on a slim chance that you don't - I think the article will be beneficial for you.

Gotcha. Obama = America. I guess that explains why they were chanting "O-bam-a" at the Dems' convention and "U-S-A" at the Republicans'. If only the Republicans had showed some patriotism...
Posted by: dorkafork at September 7, 2008 09:22 PMVito Corleone was a community organizer.
