Left-wing Jews are the self haters, People who want to appease our enemies , consciously or out of stupidity, to our own demise, can't really like themselves or their co-religionists. Giving away parts of Israel or freeing Palestinians murders or backing people for President supported heavily by anti-Semitic black leaders (Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan). They feel guilty and miserable being who they are. Thinking to themselves, we do the world wrong and their own people are bad or evil.

Call me crazy but I never worry so much about self-haters as I do about other-haters...they just seem to make more mischief and bring more misery. Herbert seems, sadly, like a really maliciouosly vicious other-hater. Why he added the out of place zinger about Clarence Thomas in an otherwise decent toned article makes me wonder about Herbert's mental health.

read thomas' book. there's plenty of self-hatred in his auto-biography. I believe that's what herbert's editorial is referring to. All of the racial comments- especially the more offensive ones are completely ignorant and irrelevant to the Herbert article.

Quite possibly. I was merely commenting on the logic the Mr. Herbert was using. I wasn't commenting on the content of his message.
