Good luck with that
Slublog rips on Obama's new ad, which seeks to portray John McCain as out of touch because of his time in the senate, over at Ace's site:
I see two potential lines of attack. The first is against Obama. "In 2005, Barack Obama came to Washington. 143 work days later, he got bored with that job and decided to run for president. He doesn't have much to show for those 143 days, except maybe a willingness to take money from your pocket and spend it on pork barrel projects in his own district."
"Since taking office, Obama has voted for nearly a billion dollars in pork barrel projects, including $1 million for his wife's employer and $100,000 to this guy.
(quick shot of Father Pfleger saying something dumb)"
Really? The Obama campaign want to try to attack McCain's experience AND Sarah Palin's inexperience? And they think this will work? Really?

McCain's been in the Senate for too long?
Sarah Palin, age 9, and Barack Obama, age 11, were still in elementary school when Joe Biden began his Senate residency.
Posted by: Marco at September 12, 2008 11:48 AMPerhaps this is evidence of a concern in the Obama camp that Palin's presence is successfully painting the McCain ticket as the outsider / "I'm not from Washington" choice?
