It's that time again

You guys did a great job with the Giants! What team should I pick to win for my suicide pool this week?

HAHAHAHAH...These people telling you to pick the Riots or the Bills clearly hate you. As I do. So pick the Riots or the Bills.

Carolina, Baltimore, NE or Indy

Without a doubt Chargers, smelling blood at 0-2 and playing at home against the inconsistent Jets

Ok, some conflicting opinions today. With some good idea and some bad. It's actually a tough week. I am assuming you can't pick the same team more than once. I am in a similar league - wait, your not in Miami Don's League with me, are you?

NE may be without Brady, but they are going up against the worst team in the NFL. For them to lose this would be an embarrassment. They are 2-0 albeit against bad teams and they didn't look that great, but there is no way St. Louis will beat them.

Seattle is playing Miami. Miami sucks almost as bad as St. Louis, and Seattle is getting some weapons back this week and should take care of business, despite being 0-2 to start the season.

Tennessee should beat Houston at home, and the Bills should beat Oakland at home also, but the Seattle and NE match-ups look more favorable to me.

Don't touch the Chargers, Favre could have a huge week against a team that appears to have a terrible D this year.

Indy is incosistent and Jax could upset, plus, there are more favorable match-ups for Indy later in the year.

Baltimore should be Cleveland, but again, more favorable match-ups later in season.

Carolina is on the road. NEVER pick road teams in Suicide pools. Unless it is Dallas or Philly against some scrub team like the Lions.

Dawn - you talk trash about my team again and I'll tip off the Feds about you being a commie/terrorist sympathizer who single handedly brought down Wall St by taking out a minority Mortgage.

Reverse Miami and St. Louis in my previous comment. Everything else still holds.

NE vs Miami
Seattle vs. St. Louis

The Patriots are your best bet. They're still pretty good, even without Brady, and the Dolphins are still awful.

Stay away from the Seahawks. They've had a lot of injuries, and could be looking at a big drop-off from last year. The Rams are also looking worse than last year, but there's better picks this week.

Stay away from the Chargers. Like VinNay said, their defense just can't keep opponents out of the end zone at critical moments.

ay ye chargers naysayers, Quentin jammer will make you eat your words on Mon night!

The Bengals and the Dolphins are the only teams who are double digit underdogs this week, although I think the line on The Dolphins is a a bit much.

I'd go with The Raiders. I don't see how they escape embarrassment against any team that's not The Kansas City Chiefs, especially one that's the odds-on favorite to win the AFC East.

Go with The Raiders to lose, I mean.

In other words, pick The Bills.

To win: Atlanta. Seriously, you could see a potentially record-breaking day in the Georgia Dome as Michael Turner goes beserk on the Chiefs. I say this as a man who owns a monogrammed Chiefs coffee mug--unless there is a fluke or Atlanta's coach has a hefty serving of Stupid-Aid with his Sunday breakfast, KC's getting trampled.

Other options--New England, of course. If the Jets with Super (old) Brett can't beat NE, I just don't see the "Wow, we were one blown pass coverage play away from going 0-16 last year"-Dolphins beating them.

I'd echo everyone else and say I can't see the Bills losing to the Raiders. Not with Jamarcus Russell completing something like only 8-10 passes a game. Buffalo's going to put 8 in the box and, unlike KC, those 8 will know how to tackle.

To lose: Chiefs if you don't pick Atlanta to win. I could also see the Bengals getting their heads, a**, and sundry other body parts handed to them by the Giants. (Ocho Cinco, Johnson...it don't matter if Palmer's looking at blue sky all day.)
