Waaaaaaaah

Is Christopher Buckley serious? He endorses Obama for the most nonsensical reasons, then offers his resignation to National Review, and now is crying that the magazine his dad founded doesn't like him anymore?

This is what Chris Buckley does, he is an opportunistic traitor. He gave the keynote address at the ydn banquet and then turned around and trashed the newspaper and its student editors in the press the next day. he'd eat his young for a midnight snack if it saves him the time it'd take to walk downstairs to the kitchen.

Evidently some apples DO fall far from the tree.

Nobody's discussing it, but Christopher Buckley's greatest motivation in endorsing Obama was to get some favorable media coverage now that he's been caught weaseling out of paying child support for the son he had with his mistress. (Good old Dad showed his own worst characteristics in making sure that his will ensured that Chris' unfortunate son couldn't make a claim on the family estate.) A lot of conservative pundits owe their living to the elder Buckley, but let's quit pretending that the whole family isn't kind of creepy.

The Buckley family "kind of creepy"? I can't imagine wtf you're talking about. Clearly Chris is a weak character, with too much privilege, and the product of an overindulgent father, but all the rest seem to be made of the very best stuff.

I don't think you can hold WFB Jr. to blame for his son's pathetic behavior. Even without a multi-million dollar inheritance, he still-I would assume-holds down a six figure salary. There's no excuse for him abandoning his child.
