Better

Hahahaha, stop it, you're killing me:

My friends Ken Follett and Susan Cheever are extremely worried. Naomi Wolf calls me every day. Yesterday, Jane Fonda sent me an email to tell me that she cried all night and can't cure her ailing back for all the stress that has reduces her to a bundle of nerves.

That's Erica Jong on her fear that Barack Obama will lose. Oh no, Jane Fonda is a bundle of nerves!

You know, sometimes I don't like some of the people on my political side. The Pat "America deserved 9/11" Robertsons and the Jerry "one of the teletubbies is gay" Falwells of the world are not my cup of tea. But there are so many fewer conservatives that I'd be ashamed to associate with than liberals. Conservatives might have some nutters, but liberals have them by the truckload. And they're not even a little shy about showing off their insanity. Erica Jong is famous and yet has no idea that she's completely off her rocker. I mean, that's impressive!

It's no secret that I am not a John McCain fan but man, am I rooting for him to win so that Jane Fonda can cry herself to sleep for a few weeks. Nothing will compare to the rage, tears, and grief we'll see if Obama loses. I'd like to see that, wouldn't you? Vote McCain/Palin '08!

I also have made no secret of my distaste for McCain, the politician; I've go the utmost respect for his service to this country during wartime. However, watching the collective meltdown that would ensue on the left were McCain to win would be so, so sweet. All of them would be staggering around and crying like little babies.

Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?

Aside from the unnecessary attempt to cut my marginal tax rate, being at Dawn's house if the networks called the election for McCain would be the only thing I might enjoy from a McCain victory.

That said, I do think the prospect of an Obama victory is driving some folks on the right close to the anti-Bush levels of lefty craziness/hysteria in their proclamations of the end of capitalism and America as we know it. It could be a long 4/8 years.

Alceste, can you take pictures and video if that happens? We'll pay you.

Posted by: Karol at October 31, 2008 03:08 PM

That would be YouTube worthy.

I take a longer view. I'm looking forward to Sarah becoming our Iron Lady.

Karol - make sure that if Alceste takes the video he agrees to release it.

I predict some serious rioting if the Anointed One loses.

If the production of that video ever comes to pass, put it up so I can add a soundtrack and put some of my mad editing skillz to work. That would be a project for the ages.

Won't there be rioting not matter who wins? I mean, some people riot when their team wins a championship. I think that the One should tell his supporters not to do it, but I won't hold my breath.

If Obama loses, the actors will burn and loot Beverly Hills.

WTF!! Hope it's, "all's well that ends well." I am a McCain(and especially)Palin supporter! Anyone who can endure the egregious attacks/onslaught by( Dems/libs/Progressives/MSM/press/partisan Alaska Legis. and just plain ole anti-woman, by and continue, I might add gracefully, man what a person!!! She and Mc have my support and VOTE!! Read 'em and weep, lefties!

Worst case scenario for the Republic: Obama wins the electoral college, but only by virtue of Ohio. By 10,000 or so votes. GOP immediately sues. Case is on its way up the chain when terrorists strike Washington, killing a couple members of SCOTUS.
