It's over...I knew it would end this way...

It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you about my break-up with rapper 50 Cent.

I loved 50 a lot, and will still defend him from critics that blame him for random violence, but it's over between us.

It's not even that his last album was merely so-so. I could have lived with that.

It's the horror, the horror!, that I happened to catch on MTV last night while flipping channels between my two favorite shows (House Hunters International and World Series of Poker).

He's doing a reality show in the model of Donald Trump's Apprentice called "50 Cent: The Money and the Power" which makes The Donald look like a normal, reasonable, nice person.

It's not just terrible. It's cringe-worthy bad. So bad. You know how Donald says "you're fired"? 50 says, "there is no way in hell I'd trust you with my money...get the f*** outta here." I mean, seriously.

Also there was this:

The contestants are extroverts, particularly a woman named Precious who gets into a number of screaming fights before the end of the first hour. At one point, she yells "Do my nails" at an Asian player. Oh yes she did. Later, though, 50 seems impressed by her feistiness, if not by her racism: "You're like the poor man's Lil' Kim," he tells her.

The girl is obviously retarded but how do you call someone the "poor man's Lil Kim"? Ghastly.

So, yes, 50 Cent has become a parody of himself and I can no longer love him as I did. I wish you all the best, 50, I really do. I hope we can stay friends and I can bump some of your singles in the future. I'll still play your first album and think of you sometimes. Please don't burn my house down.

Outstanding Karol, don't blame the man, blame the network. Chances are MTV waved a briefcase full of money in front of the guy.
