Song of the Day
"If I were a boy" by Beyonce.
I have such a soft spot for Beyonce. It's unexplainable. I generally despise R&B (mostly when it's men singing, though. I had a friend describe it with killer accuracy as "black men begging" and that sound just doesn't do it for me.), but Beyonce always gets through. She just knows how to turn a phrase and tell a story through her songs. As I mentioned a few posts below, I've never dated a jerk, and yet I feel like I relate to this song because of her.

I'm not a fan of R&B either, but I heard this song on SNL and I have to say I like it.
