This post is pretty disingenuous. Coleman is winning before the challenges are resolved. The majority of those challenges were made by Coleman and most of the challenges - by both candidates - were frivolous. We'll see who wins when the recount actually ends.

Um, what is it with Democratic-leaning places and missing ballots "reappearing"? From Kennedy and Chicago to now Franken and Minneapolis, you'd think that ballot boxes were small, easy to miss items.

(On an aside, I bet if "losing" a ballot box meant that every party head in the counties in question was fined $100,000 per vote in the box those suckers wouldn't disappear nearly as often.)

The irony is that his political campaign has achieved something his failed career as a comedian never did. Namely, making Al Franken amusing.

Charles, we do finish recounts and then you guys don't like the result so you try to keep going. The "campaign continues" line is a quote from Gore's campaign chair in 2000. How could the "campaign" continue when the votes are all in?
