How he come up with a million dollars?

Back in the '80s, when I was living in Chi-town. I recall a small entry in the daily political gossip section of the Trib, that spotted JJ the elder on a flight into Chicago bending over with a stack of hundreds protruding from his back pocket. This was before photoshop.

Frankly, my read of the situation: Are Illinois pols stupid? Yes. Are they anomalous? No.

Now we'll see how well JJ C'd his A. He isn't on the calls and I don't think anyone mentioned direct conversations with him.

Oh grand. Now the all the anonymous personalities are beginning to leak out of the woodwork. Then Guboner Blagoflgtrvtz will cut a 'deal' with the feds for white-collar-prison instead of federal pound-me-all-night-in-the-ass-prison, and all the really juicy names will come out.

I told you the Obama years would be entertaining. Pull up the lawn chairs. This is going to be fun.

Casca, before your fantasies get out of hand, two words of warning: Joe Biden.

I prefer a dolt over a sneaky bastard. When I choose my opponents, I always go for the idiot, ecce NDS.

Personally, I'd take Nixon over Carter if I were interested in the health of the nation, although I'll be the first to admit it's a disgusting thought experiment.

In other words, Obama is not the enemy. We're stuck with him, and yes, I'll take the sneaky bastard over the addled bloviator. So I hope Obama is as guiltless as he says he is in regards to Blags.
