There are dumb people everywhere who have made the mistake that, because I'm white, or not from the USA for two examples, that I'm gonna belong to their hate club. Arguing their inane points is the first way to show them up.
It's too easy to only stick up for your own and nobody else, and when you allow shit (like this Kanye west comment) to happen, but don't call your fellow _________ (insert what faith/colour/affiliation here) on their outrageous shit about 'some others', you help reinforce the Wests of this world.
I'm completely not offended. I actually think it's more insulting to the rappers.
