Wow, is that pink. You never struck me as a particularly pink kinda girl. Good luck with early April!
Have you ever been to Catalina? It's nothing like the Caribbean, but it's really tiny and romantic.
Posted by: Tanya at January 6, 2009 09:04 PMIt seemed like the best layout but yeah, pinkish. I'll look into Catalina.
Posted by: Karol at January 6, 2009 09:47 PMI've already been to Catalina.
Posted by: nds at January 7, 2009 12:10 AMSo does that mean we'll get less Alarming News now that you have another mouth to feed? ;)
Posted by: James at January 7, 2009 06:39 AM"We are close friends with a couple who had a destination wedding a few years ago in the Bahamas and it was just perfect. You're on a beach with your best friends for a weekend. Nothing could be better."
If you don't mind me asking, why a destination wedding as opposed to one at home, in your community, in your place of worship, in where you hope for your future to flourish? Now certainly I think a destination wedding can be fun and I have enjoyed the ones I have gone to as a guest. But, and having seen my sister married at the family church this August it may still be weighing on my mind, I think it really hit home to me just how rooted the entire ceremony can be and how special that is.

Posted by: Casca at January 7, 2009 11:04 AM"in your place of worship" hahahahahahahahaha
Posted by: Charles at January 7, 2009 12:16 PMI don't know, we just like the idea of getting married on a beach. It suits us. And no, James, I'm not going to ignore you guys though I do have a brand new post up over there if you're interested in that sort of thing. ;-)
Posted by: Karol at January 7, 2009 01:12 PMFair enough and I suppose one of the islands beats Coney. Has a day been selected yet?
Posted by: Von Bek at January 7, 2009 01:28 PMThank you for changing the color scheme to sane.
Can't offer any helpful suggestions on the topic of destination, so didn't leave a comment there.
Good luck with T&C!
